Semisweet Chocolate
A dark, sweetened eating chocolate made with 15-35% chocolate liquor plus cocoa butter, sugar, lecithin, and vanilla. It is available in bars which may include added flavourings; and is also sold as morsels or chips. In theory, there is more sugar in semisweet chocolate than in bittersweet chocolate, and a lower percentage of cacao; however, the terms are sometimes used interchangeably.
